FAD Speaks Africa Fashion

FAD was honored to join the McCord Stewart Museum for a conversation on archiving as a vital tool for preservation. Within the context of the landmark Africa Fashion exhibition, we explored the ingenuity and global impact of African fashions from the 1950s to today. In this dialogue, textile artist Marième Mboup brings together two creative voices: Fatou Alhya Diagne (Founder of FAD Agency) and Ismaël Mallé (Founder of Kibaru Studio). Together, they explore the essential intersections of fashion, culture, and research.
